High Performance Tennis Coach & Program Director (UTA locations in Atlanta Metro Area):
Design and oversee high-performance junior tennis program, including program for future collegiate athletes; Plan, organize and conduct individual and group practice instruction; Provide training direction, motivation, and nutritional advice to prepare athletes for matches, competitive events, and tours; Design individual player development plans including training and fitness hours, goals, tournament schedule, off season, and practice matches; Adjust coaching techniques based on the strengths and weaknesses of athletes and plan match strategies.
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration, Physical Education, or related field. High School Diploma and 24 months of experience as tennis coach acceptable as alternate to bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration, Physical Education, or related field.
Other Special Requirements:
Prior competitive tennis playing background at collegiate or professional level required. Occasional travel to unanticipated tournament locations within the State of Georgia and nationally (approximately 2-5% of the time).
