Community Outreach

Atlanta Youth Tennis and Education Foundation (AYTEF)

Atlanta Youth Tennis and Education Foundation (AYTEF) is a charitable organization supported by the USTA.  AYTEF offers free after school tennis and tutoring services at Washington Park Tennis Center for the children in the community throughout the year.  They sponsor the Serve and Connect program which is a community/police engagement initiative designed to utilize tennis to bring youth and police officers together for physical activity, informal mentoring, relationship building, and the seamless delivery of life-skills curriculum. UTA tennis coaches, UTA students, and other community volunteers meet together for twelve weeks in the fall and for twelve weeks in the spring at Washington Park Tennis Center on Friday nights from 6-8 p.m. for a fun night of tennis and dinner. College teams such as Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Emory, Kennesaw State, SCAD, Morehouse, Oglethorpe, and Clayton State have also volunteered to teach the children!

Ron Clark Academy

Universal Tennis Academy has been active with providing free coaching and tennis drills throughout the year for the students of the Ron Clark Academy at the Washington Park Tennis Center.

Special Community Clothes & Racquet Drives

At each UTA site, we have annual clothes and racket drives for families in need.  Students, coaches, staff and facility patrons give to this good cause.
