THE UTA JUNIOR PATHWAY
THE UTA JUNIOR PATHWAY
6 & UNDER:
The first stage in tennis development. This group teaches the younger players the basic skills of tennis with low-compression red dot balls.
10 & UNDER:
This group is for players age 7-10. It is for beginner/intermediate players and will use primarily orange low-compression balls on a 60‘ court with some green-dot balls on a regular court.
COMPETITIVE:
Competitive is for intermediate players between ages of 11-14. Regular & green dot balls are used on a regular court.
JR EXCELLENCE:
This Group is for advanced players between the ages of 10-14 who hold State or Southern rankings. Regular balls are used on regular court. Some UTA facilities have a High Performance or Next-Gen group for players moving up.

*EARLY RELEASE:
This group is for Excellence-level players, who are at the advanced/performance level and are homeschooled or released early for practice during school hours.

*Effective 8/1/2023 the children in these groups will automatically be enrolled in UTA360! This program is UTA’s new initiative designed to help our highest performers achieve their goals.
UTA360 will give our students the off-court resources they need to truly maximize their potential. UTA’s success with on-court training is unmatched, with over 300 UTA students competing at the collegiate level over the past 27 years. UTA360 will give our students access to experts in the fields that competitive tennis players need for peak health and performance!
