Atlanta Youth Tennis and Education Foundation (AYTEF) is a charitable organization supported by the USTA. AYTEF offers free after-school tennis and tutoring services at Fair Oaks Center for the children in the community throughout the year. UTA tennis coaches, UTA students, and UTA college teams such as Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Emory, Kennesaw State, SCAD, Morehouse, Oglethorpe, and Clayton State have also volunteered to teach the children!
DreamMakers is an organization dedicated to assisting children with special needs. Universal Tennis Academy provides free coaching and equipment two Saturdays of the month to children with special needs. UTA coaches and students volunteer to assist the children of DreamMakers, some of whom have even advanced to compete in the Special Olympics!
UTA is active in wheelchair tennis fundraising and tennis programming.
To introduce more families to the wonderful sport of tennis, UTA has hosted several free Family Tennis events providing complimentary tennis clinics and instructions at various UTA sites.
At each UTA site, we have annual clothes and racket drives for families in need. Students, coaches, staff and facility patrons give to this good cause.
