UTA has developed junior tennis players into Touring Professionals, NCAA Champions and All-Americans, and National Junior Gold Ball Winners. We have sent over 200 juniors to compete at the Collegiate Level. A few of our students that are former touring pros are Bobby Reynolds, Brian Vahaly, Amanda McDowell, Raian Luchici, Scoville Jenkins, Brett Ross, and Ansley Cargill.
Junior Program Notes:
Players signing up for 1 or 2-Day programs must specify the days of participation. This will allow for proper staffing.
There are no 1-Day rates for any groups other than 6 & Under. We are in the business of player development. We may make exceptions for defined periods of time for unavoidable conflicts.
*There will be no rain make-ups for students signed up for the 3-Day Competitive/High School rate unless there are multiple rain-outs in a monthly session. The 3-Day rate is priced accordingly.
We will add groups as it becomes necessary. We look forward to serving the HBCC Juniors!
Tournament Coaching
When HBCC juniors are ready to compete in USTA/UTR tournaments, UTA coaches will be available to help the families navigate tournament play. We will help you find the proper tournaments, and may take groups of kids to various tournaments both in and outside of Atlanta. Please see Ryan or Tim to get more information.
Makeup Policy
If drills are cancelled due to inclement weather, students may attend their regular drill group on a day that they don’t normally attend within that month. In the case of multiple cancellations in a short period of time we may do make-up drills on Friday afternoons from time to time.
Program Withdrawal
Program registration is located on the Member Portal. If you have additional questions, please contact the Athletic Center at 770-810-0972 or email [email protected].
More Information
We ask a 30 day written notice for withdrawal from the HBCC Junior program. This will allow us to plan ahead when staffing for drills. In the absence of a 30 day notice, a monthly drill charge will be assessed.
